Gnome paladins why they make sense

Gnomes initially were having no healers, probably because of their purely technological and intellectual affinity, and healing classes being more spiritual, so Priests and Monks were somewhat a mistake. From a slightly old topic on Paladin Oath choices: Gonna say the oath of Ancients gets you the best mileage.

Spellcasting is paramount once again, but not as powerful. A strong example of this is in fact this very oath - a Mage Slayer Paladin of Ancients isn't going to slouch when you're trying to toss spells at him. I would even argue that adding Gnome on top of that would just be overkill - Advantage on all mental saves against spells, CHA mod to all saving throws in general, an aura that grants resistance to damage from spells, and when you're within 5 feet of a target they're at disadvantage to cast spells from Mage Slayer, and then when you pick up your capstone that'll also make your spells harder to resist.

Gnome Paladins are pretty good in theory. From a slightly old topic on Paladin Oath choices: Gnome Paladins are pretty good in theory. Ha at that point I think that the dm doesnt use spellcasters anymore :. Ah darn it I grabbed my phb and I noticed that I would have to beg dm for wolf : Well I guess a pony still works Have you tried accepting that gnomes shouldn't exist? What's wrong with that? Choose an armour that gives you the highest AC. This is what I wanted to say!

Looks pretty good! Does a rapier realy do the same damage as a longsword? Yep just looked it up, weird. Though it does appear that with only 8 strenght he woudnt be able to wear heavy armor, I guess that makes sense though. If you maintain a high Dex, you won't need heavy armour. I generally dump strength on the smaller races solely because I have a hard time picturing anyone under 5' having a Strength above 12ish anyway.

Plus I guess old prejudices die hard since older editions used to give a penalty to Str for the small races. That's how you get the wolf mount. Also, Dex-based Gnome Paladin sounds fun. But I can work around this, because just like with blood elves, since when do you have to actually worship the Light to be a paladin?

Gnomes invent a device that forcibly channels the Light and turns them into paladins. No worship involved; hell, they don't even have to be lawful.

FC: SW User Info: ryouma17 ryouma17 6 years ago 2 if undeads can be priests i dont see why gnomes cant be paladins infact i dont even know why blizz restricts certain classes to certain specs. Well, my guild called it quits. How come ION can't talk to us like Yoshi p? Do you think Disney will buy Activision Blizzard? How and where do you learn to use guns? Side Quest. What is the quickest way? Main Quest. Why can't I loot anything?

Where is the best place to level from ?
